Introduction
Jabalpur lies in Eastern Madhya Pradesh, on the bank of Narmada river. It is surrounded by hills, from three sides and offers pleasant climatic conditions. Being a popular tourist destinations, it can be visited in all the seasons. Here we can observe all climatic conditions i.e. winters, summers and monsoon season. Here Winter season can be experienced from November to March during which minimum temperature dips to 03°C and maximum temperature remains 15°C. Mid December to January month are of peak winters. Despite of that, here fog is rarely seen thus it is a good for Jabalpur tourism activities. During this time Jabalpur climate and weather is considered favorable for tours in this region. Most of the tourists prefers this time to visit Jabalpur and its surrounding tourist attractions like Bandhavgarh, Kanha national park, Pachmarhi, Pench national park, Khajuraho, Satpura national park etc. Similarly we can experience summers from end of March month to July month during which temperature reach 45°C in daytime and heat waves can be experienced. Peak summer time is May and June month during which heat waves prevails and day remains bright sunny. Here in Jabalpur monsoon cloud reach somewhere around mid of July month and rainfall can be experience till end of September month. Peak monsoon time is August and September months in which relentless railfall can be experienced. Although Jabalpur lies on the bank of Narmada river but still it never faces flood situation. During this period, Jabalpur and its surrounding offers photogenic natural scenery. With the beginning of October month, rainfall almost finish up and festival season begins. This was the beginning of Jabalpur tourism season.
