Introduction
We have seen that when city expands, its area also increases thus local citizens will spread over large area. With increase in population in city and expansion of city, movement of people automatically increases. It means that movement of various modes of transport will also increase. Almost all large cities are connected by railways thus they have own railway staiton. Due to grown of city, train connectivity also improves and thus train traffic increases which exerts pressure on their main railway station. In order to reduce such pressure, often new railway station were established in cities. This trend can be experience in all large cities. Same is the case with Jabalpur city. This city is also having more than one railway station. Here we have tried to share information on various railway stations of Jabalpur so that readers will have better understanding towards city connectivity.
Railway Station in Jabalpur
Here in Jabalpur we have find more than one railway station. Main railway station is called Jabalpur Junction, located on city center. All major trains, passing through city, has stoppage in Jabalpur Junction. After Jabalpur junction, second important station is Madan Mahal station which is located on south-west of main station. Close to Madan Mahal station, we can find Kachpura station which is not used by passenger trains but used by freight train. It has large godowns, close to it thus mainly it is used for transport trains only. If we move further western outskirts of city area, we will find newly developed Garha station. It is basically a small station, located on newly developed Jabalpur - Gondia track which will gain popularity in coming days. If we move to North-East of Jabalpur, we will find Adhartaal station, at outskirt of city area. It is a small station where local level trains have stoppage but long distance trains, don't have stoppage here.
